NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY – SUNDAY. All eyes remain on the forecast for Sunday and Sunday night as a large storm system is expected to impact the Midstate. Precipitation is likely to start to move into the area on Sunday morning and looks like it will start with some sleet and even some light freezing rain. Beware of slick and icy spots on roadways, especially north of I-40 in northern Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky as these are the areas where temperatures will be the lowest and at the greatest risk for hazardous travel.
