WILSON COUNTY, TN – In Lebanon, Tennessee, a high-tech tool known as “SafeNet” proved its worth this week when it alerted local law enforcement to a stolen license plate traced back to Smyrna. Thanks to the vigilant police officers and some swift action, a vehicle linked to the theft was spotted and brought to a halt near the intersection of Hartman Dr. and W. Baddour Pkwy.
The drama unfolded when officers located the suspect vehicle and discovered that the driver, a 33-year-old woman from Murfreesboro, was in possession of stolen property. In addition to the female, a 39-year-old male passenger, also from Murfreesboro, found himself in a bit of a bind as well—he was arrested for carrying drug paraphernalia.
