Volunteer fire departments receive grants

The Tennessee Department of Commerce (TCDI) and the Tennessee State Fire Marshal’s Office (SFMO) announced Thursday that 245 Tennessee volunteer fire departments will be receiving grants totaling $10 million in 2025 through the Volunteer Fire Equipment and Training Grant Program.

Several area volunteer fire departments were listed among the departments that will be receiving these grant funds.
