Doctor accused of raping patient in Johnson City charged

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WCYB) — A doctor accused of raping a patient has been charged, according to the Johnson City Police Department.

Dr. Atif Atyia, 68, of Jonesborough, has been charged with aggravated rape and three counts of sexual battery.
