Photos show widespread damage in Tennessee amid storms

Central U.S. states under siege by severe weather may not be getting a break after storms caused flash flooding and tornadoes Wednesday night.

Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri and Tennessee were all hit by more than a dozen twisters overnight into Thursday morning, according to the National Weather Service, leaving flash flooding and devastating property damage in their wake.

At least six have died, according to USA TODAY reporting. In Tennessee, officials reported four deaths across McNairy, Obion, Hardeman and Fayette counties.
