NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A hearing officer recommended to decline parole to a man convicted in the kidnapping, torture, and murder of two men in Tennessee in the 1990s, according to District Attorney Bryant C. Dunaway.
On Tuesday, Dunaway and the families of victims Roger Dale Zammit attended the parole hearing for James Christopher Tatrow to speak in opposition to his early release.
“At the conclusion of the hearing, the hearing officer made his recommendation to decline parole due to the seriousness of the offense commenting that release would depreciate the seriousness of the crime,” Dunaway said. “Please take a moment today to remember ROGER DALE ZAMMIT and JOHN ALLEN HARRY. Their lives were taken, and their families continue to grieve.”…
