Rutherford County School Board moves to install weapons detection systems in all schools

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Tenn. (WSMV) – Soon all students in Rutherford County, from elementary to high schoolers, may have to walk through metal detectors. The school board unanimously approved this on April 9, leaving just one more step until they are installed.

When Kristen Rondon heard her children’s schools were both getting weapons detection systems, she was all for it.
