It will be a mild and mostly dry start to the work week, before the pattern becomes more unsettled toward the weekend. In the short term, a weak cold front will move through from NW to SE today with clouds and a small chance of a shower or thunderstorm. SPC has the area just east of us outlooked for severe today, with convective models touching off a line of showers and storms just as the front pushes east. None the less will have to watch just in case a shower or thunderstorm develops early, especially in KY or TN this afternoon. Behind this front it will be drier, breezier and cooler again for the next couple of days.
