MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WKRN)- The Murfreesboro Police Department says their real-time license plate readers (LPRs) have been a huge success, and they’ve identified several more roads that could use them.
Last year, the department had over 400 arrests, leads, or traffic stops associated with the LPRs.
Right now, there are a total of 57 LPRs placed on city streets all across Murfreesboro, but police want more.
