Tennessee bill targets businesses for criminal activity

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — District 98 State Representative Antonio Parkinson is pulling no punches Friday as he outlines House Bill 1050, a measure he’s introduced to strengthen Tennessee’s nuisance laws.

House Bill 1050 aims to hold more irresponsible business owners accountable.

“This bill will establish a clear and legal threshold for a business, and it officially designates that business a nuisance due to ongoing criminal activity,” said Antonio Parkinson (D), TN State Representative of District 98.
