UPDATE: Lascassas Pike Second Degree Murder Suspect Scheduled for Court Appearance

MURFREESBORO, TN – Next week, a murder case will make its initial appearance in Rutherford County General Sessions Court, where the suspect faces a single charge of second-degree murder. The investigation into the death of 27-year-old Jaleel Turner began after his body was found on the floor of his apartment on October 13, 2024. The apartment complex where the death was reported to authorities is “The Southern,” a housing unit on Lascassas Pike in Murfreesboro.
