Woman’s body found in West Tennessee parking lot, authorities investigating as homicide

HENRY COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A homicide investigation is underway after a woman was found dead in a parking lot in Henry County Saturday.

The Henry County Sheriff’s Office said a call came in on Saturday, May 10 about a possible body “in the parking lot of Gin Creek WMA” — even though the Gin Creek Unit is a part of the Big Sandy Wildlife Management Area, according to the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency — on Copper Springs Road.

Hunters reportedly discovered a dead woman on the edge of the parking lot. Authorities said she has since been identified as 31-year-old Kristiana Shook-Livingston, “with a last known address listed as homeless in Murfreesboro.”…
