Tennessee Treasury to Help Murfreesboro Residents Find Missing Money at Berry Festival

Rutherford County, TN – On Saturday, July 19, the Tennessee Department of Treasury – Unclaimed Property Division will be in Murfreesboro as part of its statewide tour to reconnect residents with their missing money. Last fiscal year, over $60 million in unclaimed property was returned to Tennesseans—many of whom were unaware they had money waiting.

As part of the Treasury’s outreach, representatives from the Unclaimed Property Division will attend major events in each of Tennessee’s three grand divisions. In Rutherford County, they’ll be at the 2nd Annual Berry Festival, taking place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Hop Springs, located at 6790 John Bragg Highway.

Visitors can enjoy a berry-filled day with free admission, free parking, live music, and over 150 vendors offering home décor, handmade items, boutique goods, and berry-themed treats. Booths with red balloons signal those selling fresh berries, berry-flavored drinks and food, or berry-scented products…
