Man who confessed to Macon alleyway murder indicted for separate Tennessee murder

(WGXA) — The man who confessed to the May 2024 downtown Macon alleyway murder was indicted by a grand jury in Tennessee for a different murder.

WGXA obtained court records that reveal Adam Arthur Rosenthal was indicted on April 9 by a grand jury in Giles County, Tenn., on one count of first-degree murder and one count of tampering with evidence in the killing of 25-year-old Darren Gambrell on Nov. 24, 2024.

Grand jurors believe Rosenthal “did unlawfully and knowingly with premeditation kill Darren Gambrell,” and “did unlawfully and knowingly alter, destroy, or conceal any substance or thing, with the intent to impair its availability as evidence in an investigation…,” according to the indictment…
