‘I’m blessed’: Murfreesboro woman survives storms inside car that nearly flipped from strong winds

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Tenn. (WSMV) – Driving down Blackman Road Tuesday night was impossible, since portions of the road were shut down as first responders worked to ensure people were okay after storms passed through around dinner time.

When the road reopened, the mess that was masked by night came to light, leaving a tall order for homeowners and workers alike to clean up.

Dozens of trees, wires and power poles were visibly ripped down or severely damaged. While there has been no confirmation of a tornado by the National Weather Service at the time of publication, neighbors believe that’s what caused the damage…
