Tennessee Weekend Weather: 4 Inches of Rain Possible Across Memphis Region in 96 Hours

Memphis, Tennessee – Heavy rain is expected to drench much of the Mid-South through Tuesday, with some areas, including Memphis and surrounding counties, likely to receive over 4 inches of rain in just four days.

According to the National Weather Service in Memphis, repeated rounds of showers and thunderstorms will roll through the region from Friday night through Tuesday. Widespread totals of 2 to 4 inches are likely, with localized amounts exceeding 4 inches, especially in central and northern parts of west Tennessee and eastern Arkansas.
