Tennessee opens applications for $27M Families First Community Grant Program

Tennessee – The Tennessee Department of Human Services (TDHS) has announced the opening of the 2025 Families First Community Grant Program, making approximately $27 million in funding available to non-profit organizations focused on strengthening low-income families across the state.

Applications are now being accepted from qualified non-profit organizations that deliver direct services aimed at promoting self-sufficiency and economic stability among Tennessee families. The application period is open through July 10 at 5 p.m. Central Time.
