5 Pub Signs That Bar None

DRINKING ESTABLISHMENTS ARE fun but their signs can be serious — almost a religious — business. Upon completion of a bar sign still in RiNo Sign Works’ Denver shop, new owner Brian Dudzinsky describes the scene: “Our staff was circling the sign as if it was an altar so they could see the ‘sparkles’ as your eyes move across the [sign’s] hole patterns,” he says. While we’re both kidding about the religious references, there’s no mistaking the fervor this quintet of pub signs creates.

On a referral, CAT Graphics (Great Falls, MT) got the job for hometown Whiskey Ridge. Adding to the client-supplied logo, the shop’s designers laid out a double-sided sign (shown) and a flag-mounted one. The crane-installed rooftop sign overlays another…..
