Nolensville PD warning of predatory towing

NOLENSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Police are warning about predatory towing, at one parking lot in particular in Nolensville.

The Nolensville Police Department said residents have been overcharged for drop fees after being towed from a store near the Nolensville Farmers Market.

Tennessee law states towing companies can charge up to $100 for a drop fee after someone is towed, but people visiting the farmers market have been charged nearly $400 after being towed from the adjacent lot.
