MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Mt. Juliet Police Department is touting a large reduction in crime during the first five months of 2025.
MJPD said that from January to May, it has seen a decrease in crime and an uptick in the recovery of unlawful guns, stolen cars, and wanted people arrested.
“Robbery reports dropped by 100%, burglaries are down 56%, and vehicle burglaries decreased by 42%. Meanwhile, overall theft, vehicle theft, and shoplifting each declined by nearly 30%,” MJPD touted. “These aren’t just numbers—they represent safer streets, businesses, and homes for everyone who lives, works, and visits Mt.
