LA VERGNE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The La Vergne Police Department is sharing some praise for one of its dispatchers who helped a mother deliver a baby during a 911 call in May.
The department said that early in the morning on May 21, dispatcher Farmer answered a call from a midwife reporting a patient in active labor on Sullivan Trail. Moments later, dispatcher Annely took a 911 call directly from the patient, who was screaming that her baby was on the way.
