Tennessee residents warned of new DMV scam targeting drivers

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Tenn. — Tennessee authorities are warning residents about a new scam targeting drivers.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says some people have received fake “Final Notice” messages claiming to be from the Tennessee Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) regarding unpaid tickets and potential license suspension.
