COFFEE OUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — The remainder of the Bonnaroo has been cancelled due to weather, organizers said.
In a social media statement, organizers said the National Weather Service provided them with an updated forecast with significant and steady rain. They said cancelling the remainder of the festival is “the safest decision.”
“I think it should have been cancelled from the beginning or maybe at the beginning of the day-to-day when the storm started,” Bonnaroo attendee Mackenzie Martin said. “Definitely not at the end after all the storms happened. And now, we’re stuck in muddy, lumpy soil that we can’t get out of. They definitely waited way too long to cancel this.”…
