LA VERGNE, Tenn. (WGNS) – Around 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, residents near La Vergne High School noticed a heavy police presence that quickly became the focus of local chatter. A BOLO (Be on the Lookout) broadcast revealed that a stolen vehicle had fled from Smyrna Police and was headed toward La Vergne.
La Vergne officers swiftly deployed to the area and located the vehicle abandoned on Wolverine Trail. The suspects had already fled on foot. Officers began canvassing the vicinity while awaiting the arrival of Smyrna Police, who then assumed control of the investigation.
