MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — You may have an exciting day filled with a trove of money! Festivalgoers at this year’s Berry Festival in Murfreesboro may discover more than fresh berries and local fun — they could find a few hundred or even thousands of dollars in unclaimed cash waiting for them. The 2nd Annual Berry Festival on June 19th takes place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Hop Springs, located at 6790 John Bragg Highway.
The Tennessee Department of Treasury’s Unclaimed Property Division will have a booth at the festival on Saturday, July 19, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., helping Middle Tennesseans search for and claim missing money. At previous events, many residents have found unexpected funds through this free service.

There’s no deadline or fee to claim your funds; they remain available to the owner or legal heirs indefinitely…
