JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) – A Mesonet system is a network of weather stations designed to measure and monitor weather events.
The system will consist of one station in every county throughout the state. There are 95 stations in total, each featuring a 33-foot tower with temperature, wind speed and wind direction sensors.
