Skydiver gets stuck in tree in Tullahoma, sparking rescue effort

TULLAHOMA, Tenn. (WKRN) — First responders were called out to Tullahoma after a skydiver got tangled up in a tree Sunday afternoon, according to officials.

The Coffee County Emergency Management Agency told News 2 that three skydivers jumped on Sunday, July 20. Two of them landed fine, but the third got stuck in a tree.

Crews are reportedly working to perform a rope rescue along Ledford Mill Road after officials determined it was too dense for a helicopter. Coffee County EMA’s director sent News 2 the following pictures, which were taken at 7:45 p.m.:
