Murfreesboro’s northside five-lane Cherry Lane extension project will entice future development by serving as a connector, or gateway of growth in people, industry and jobs, city officials say.
The project will connect to Interstate 840 and U.S. Highway 41. Local government consultant Jim Colson in 2020 told Murfreesboro officials that the future Cherry Lane extension and interchange with I-840 is one of the city’s top five economic development sites.
