‘Not capable of living among society’: 2020 letter from DA warned parole board of potential danger in release of quadruple murder suspect

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. (WSMV) – A letter written by a West Tennessee district attorney to the Tennessee Board of Parole in 2020 warned that the suspect in a quadruple murder case could pose a threat to the public.

The letter, written by 26th District Attorney General Jody Pickens, was sent to the parole board before 28-year-old Austin Drummond’s 2020 parole hearing.

Drummond was in prison for an armed robbery at a gas station…
