4 Suspects In Fatal ATM Theft Attempt In Tennessee Arrested In Arkansas

Four suspects in a deadly gas station ATM robbery in Tennessee were arrested Friday by Arkansas State Police, authorities said.

The Murfreesboro Police Department said officers responded to a report of an armed robbery and shooting at the 7 Eleven-Exxon gas station at 1849 E. Northfield Boulevard at around 5 a.m. Friday.

Investigators learned five suspects backed a stolen pickup truck to the store, smashed a window with a sledgehammer, and used a guy-wire to pull the ATM. A customer opened fire, however, and fatally shot one of the thieves, identified as 23-year-old Tyrese Walder…
