BRISTOL, Tenn. (WCYB) — A pursuit involving multiple agencies in Northeast Tennessee led to an arrest Sunday morning according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
According to a preliminary report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, THP was notified around 9:40 a.m. Sunday morning about a stolen 2022 Honda HR-V that was being pursued along Highway 421 in North Carolina heading towards the Tennessee state line. North Carolina agencies terminated the pursuit at the state line, but Johnson County, Tenn. Sheriff Deputies spotted the vehicle and began a second pursuit.
The THP report goes onto say, the pursuit continued along Highway 421 into Sullivan County where THP troopers successfully deployed spike strips at the Highway 421 bridge deflating the right rear tire. The driver of the vehicle, Joshua T Gragg, from North Carolina eventually pulled over on Pennsylvania Avenue near State Street in Bristol, Tenn. and was taken into custody…
