A Liberty man has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault for allegedly trying to strangle his pregnant girlfriend and her daughter.
34-year-old Ricky Wesley Fults of Pea Ridge Road is also charged with emergency call interference. His bond is $84,000 and he will be in court on August 28.
Sheriff Patrick Ray said that on August 9 Fults allegedly tried to strangle his pregnant girlfriend. A deputy was summoned to the residence and upon arrival spoke to a woman who had bruising and lacerations on her face, as well as marks on her chest and lower back. The woman said Fults had tried to strangle her in the past and she thought he was trying to do it again.
