One person arrested following drug bust in Tennessee

TENNESSEE — A Mt. Juliet man has been arrested following a months-long drug investigation involving multiple law enforcement agencies, the Metro Nashville Police Department announced.

The investigation, assisted by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Mt. Juliet Police Department, and Wilson County Sheriff’s Office, identified 52-year-old Michael Bell as a suspected drug trafficker tied to high-end parties in Nashville.

Deputies stopped Bell in Wilson County on Tuesday, where police said mushrooms and cocaine were found in his vehicle. A search of his Mt. Juliet home led to the seizure of additional drugs, including cocaine, MDMA, mushroom plants, methamphetamines, THC-infused bars, and digital scales…
