Wanted man arrested in Nolensville after LPR hit, chase

NOLENSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A chronic offender is back behind bars thanks to the quick actions of Nolensville law enforcement, as well as strategically placed license plate recognition cameras.

It all unfolded around 5:15 p.m. on Aug. 9 in a busy stretch of Nolensville. That’s when a pickup truck, reportedly driven by Steven Bennett, passed by an LPR camera.

The license plate immediately came back to a driver wanted for felony theft warrants out of Rutherford County. The Nolensville Police Department was quickly notified about the alert, so authorities set up in areas where the truck was believed to be traveling…
