MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WKRN) — An investigation is underway following a hit-and-run crash outside of a Murfreesboro grocery store Sunday evening.
The Murfreesboro Police Department said the “serious injury crash” took place shortly before 6 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 24 in the parking lot of the Kroger along S. Church Street.

According to officials, the incident involved a vehicle and a pedestrian.
Just before 8:30 p.m., authorities announced they were trying to identify the woman pictured below, who is believed to be the driver who hit the pedestrian and left the scene.
