Mother of 3 died after forcefully entering the home of her husband’s mistress to check whether they were together before the mistress shot her in the abdomen

Tennessee – In a shocking incident in Tennessee that underscores the devastating consequences of jealousy and confrontation, a 42-year-old mother of 3, identified as Keiona “Keedie” W., lost her life after visiting the home of her husband’s mistress, identified as Keosha G., and was fatally shot through the front door. The woman’s absence of charges remains under review, sparking public concern and legal scrutiny over claims of self-defense.

Authorities are actively looking into the fatal shooting of Keiona, who sustained a gunshot wound to the abdomen during a heated argument at Keosha’s house. Keiona’s husband, identified as Amadeo W., was involved in an ongoing relationship with Keosha. As of now, no charges have been filed pending further review by the DA’s Office. According to police reports, Keiona arrived at the residence after noting her husband’s vehicle parked there. She used her own key to move the car in front of the house and knocked on the front door. Keosha initially responded via a surveillance speaker, prompting an argument about whether Keiona’s husband was inside the home.

When Keiona attempted to force entry into the home, the confrontation escalated. Keosha reportedly fired the first shot through the storm door—missing the victim—before Keiona gained entry and a physical struggle ensued. During the scuffle, a second shot was fired, striking Keiona in the abdomen. Despite her injuries, Keiona managed to flee, drove a short distance in her husband’s car, and flagged down an officer near the police station. She was rushed to a hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries. Law enforcement confirmed that homicide detectives remain on the case, reviewing statements and forensic evidence, while coordinating with the DA’s Office. No charges against Keosha have been issued yet. Authorities noted that the decision rests on the outcome of their ongoing investigation…
