LA VERGNE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The La Vergne Police Department is asking for dashcam footage after the driver of a Chevrolet Camaro was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday morning along I-24.
According to authorities, the incident happened sometime between 10:45 a.m. and 11 a.m. in the westbound lanes of I-24 near Waldron Road and Sam Ridley Parkway.

Officials reported the suspects, who were traveling in a black Toyota sedan, brake-checked the Camaro and then threw eggs onto the windshield. The driver of the Camaro reportedly pulled over to right shoulder, which is when two masked suspects robbed the victim at gunpoint before driving off toward Nashville.
