Two people were killed and two were critically injured in a crash early on Tuesday morning in Coffee County.
On August 26, 2025, a van driven by an unidentified male with three other male passengers was traveling eastbound on I-24 and approached traffic slowed for the construction site at approximately the 105-mile marker. The driver allegedly failed to safely stop his vehicle and rear-ended a commercial truck.
