Masked Intruder Burglarizes Tennessee Forestry Office in Lawrenceburg

NASHVILLE — The Tennessee Department of Agriculture (TDA) is asking for the public’s help in identifying the individual or individuals responsible for a burglary at a Division of Forestry office in Lawrenceburg.

Between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. on Monday, August 25, 2025, a gloved and masked intruder entered the New Prospect office on Tower Road. Security footage shows the suspect searching compartments on a state truck before cutting the building’s phone lines and gaining entry through a side window.

Investigators reported that the burglar exited through a back door carrying multiple stolen items. The missing property includes a Stihl chainsaw, Stihl backpack blower, Ingersoll Rand air hammer, DeWalt router, DeWalt hammer drill, DeWalt grease gun, DeWalt 20V grinder, and a DeWalt 20V jig saw…
