Rutherford County Schools Achieves Level 5 Status for Sixth Consecutive Year

Rutherford County Schools and 32 of its individual schools have attained Level 5 status for student performance during the 2024-2025 school year, according to information released by the Tennessee Department of Education.

It is the sixth consecutive year of Level 5 recognition — the highest possible — for the district and the second straight year of having 32 schools accomplish the same. Rankings are based on student performance from TCAP assessments, which students take each spring.
