NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Thunderstorms are popping up across Middle Tennessee this afternoon, bringing the risk of damaging wind gusts up to 40 mph, small hail, and frequent lightning through tonight.
According to the National Weather Service in Nashville, storms are forming rapidly across Davidson, Williamson, Rutherford, and surrounding counties. While severe warnings are not in effect, the storms may still cause power outages, downed tree limbs, and slick roads during the evening commute.
