Sentencing underway for former Tennessee House speaker’s top aide in corruption case

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Sentencing is underway for former Tennessee House Speaker Glen Casada’s top aide, Cade Cothren, following their corruption convictions.

The proceedings began at 8:30 a.m. at the downtown Nashville courthouse. Cothren’s sentencing is currently happening Tuesday. Documents show Casada’s has been pushed back to next Tuesday, Sept. 23.
