This week is child passenger safety week. Both Bristol rest stops in Virginia and Tennessee have car seat safety checks until 6 p.m.
The checks are hosted by the Niswonger Children’s Hospital along with local and state departments.
Certified technicians are stationed at the checks to make sure car seats are properly secured, while offering information for caretakers to make sure they are properly educated on car seat safety…
