Rutherford County Schools to cut the ribbon on $61 million high school expansion

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WSMV) – Rutherford County Schools will have a ribbon-cutting for its new multi-million dollar expansion at Oakland High School this weekend.

The district is hosting a ribbon-cutting and celebration at Oakland High on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. The work cost $61 million overall and added more than 100,000 square feet to the campus, according to the district.
