Murfreesboro, TN – A sunny Friday afternoon (10/3/2025) in Murfreesboro took a sudden turn when two SUVs collided at the intersection of North Walnut and West Lytle Streets, right next to the Rutherford County Judicial Center parking garage. The crash happened during the 1 o’clock hour, and both vehicles— a Chevrolet Trax and a Lexus QX56— had their airbags deployed upon impact. The force of the collision left two women in the Chevrolet Trax injured. Emergency responders from Murfreesboro Fire-Rescue and Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services (RCEMS) were quickly on the scene to assist and transport the injured.
