NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — From bald eagles soaring over Reelfoot Lake to purple martins filling the skies above downtown Nashville, bird-watchers in Tennessee now have a new resource to help plan their next outing.

The Tennessee Department of Tourist Development released a Guide to Birding in Tennessee this year, featuring top birding locations, seasonal migrations, and tips for responsible birding. Contributors include naturalists and birding experts, such as Tony Lance of the Tennessee Wildlife Federation.
