Tenn./Va. (WJHL) — The full moon that occurs closest to the Autumn Equinox is commonly referred to as the “Harvest Moon.”
On Monday night, community members across the Tri-Cities gazed into the night sky to view the supermoon. An uncommon feature this year–the Harvest Moon rising in October; the date usually falls in September.
