Murfreesboro real estate agent up for national recognition

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WKRN) — A Rutherford County real estate agent has been named a finalist for a national award recognition.

According to the National Association of REALTORS, Jantrice Johnson is one of 10 finalists for the organization’s annual Good Neighbor Awards. The awards honor NAR members who found charities that make “extraordinary differences” in their communities by giving time, money, energy, and expertise to uplift people.

WeGo launching fare-free program for low-income families

Johnson was named a finalist for her work with her own charity We Give. According to NAR, We Give started as a simple back-to-school supply drive that has grown into a community-wide mission.

Since 2014, We Give has reached more than 10,000 vulnerable students across Middle Tennessee with things from school supplies to winter clothing to haircuts. Johnson has served children experiencing poverty and homelessness, while ensuring they are treated with dignity and compassion.

“The Good Neighbor Awards remind us that the heart of real estate is people and communities,” NAR President Kevin Sears said. “Jantrice’s efforts go far beyond helping clients buy or sell a home. She is building hope, opportunity, and stronger communities every single day.”…
