Rutherford County, TN – Rutherford County Fire and Rescue (RCFR) responded to a residential fire on Bairdscorner Drive in Murfreesboro on Nonday night at around 11:00 PM. The first arriving engine company reported heavy fire and smoke coming from the attached garage of a single-family residence.
Firefighters initiated an aggressive fire attack to prevent the flames from spreading into the home’s main living area. Crews searched the residence and located one occupant. The individual was safely removed from the house and evaluated by Rutherford County Emergency Medical Service personnel on scene.
Due to the swift actions of responding crews, the fire was contained to the garage area, with only minor smoke damage reported in the adjoining living space…
