Tennessee and Kentucky will be seeing showers, thunderstorms, and severe weather risk Friday November 7th. The Storm Prediction Center is indicating an area of severe thunderstorm risk centered over these two states. The risk in some areas is as high as 15 percent. This would suggest either isolated severe thunderstorms possible along with perhaps a few clusters of stronger thunderstorms.
There is also slightly elevated tornado risks for Tennessee and Kentucky in the 2 percent range. That is a low number but it is not zero. It would suggest that some isolated tornadoes could spin up and this is ahead of a cold front that will be pushing eastward Friday through the Ohio and Tennessee Valleys.
